To hold a firearm you must first complete a Safety Course
Then you must decide what your "Genuine Reason" for holding a firearm is and make application for a licence with NSW Firearms registry. - Click Here
Rural - You own a property and will use if for vermin controletc as part of your work if so the firearm can not be taken off the property
Hunting - You wish to take your firearm to other persons properties and shoot on a recreational basis.
Target - You wish to undertake target shooting , shoot various "Disciplines" at a recognised and licenced club such as SSAA Kyogle Branch.
