To obtain a NSW firearms licence for longarms (like rifles and shotguns), you must pass a mandatory safety course. The course covers laws, safe storage, and practical handling.
At SSAA KYOGLE our course cost is very affordable at $110 and it takes about 3 hours to complete both the theory and the practicle sections.

Training for a handgun is treated a little differently, a Handgun licence is usually issued ONLY for target practice at an approved range like SSAA KYOGLE Pistol club.
Course cost is $100 for your training course (theory and practicle) plus an additional range membership (Which is Mandatory) is $150 for a combined total of $250
Once you pass the theory and practical assessments, you will receive a Statement of Attainment.
You must then submit this certificate to the NSW Police.
A PTA ( Permit to acquire ) will only be considered after these requirements are fulfulled.
